There was a time not to long ago when many did not recognise the value of replacement UPVC fascias, soffits and bargeboards. Perhaps we have had too many wet and windy winters, or maybe there is no longer the interest in DIY, but whatever the reason traditional timber fascias and soffits are on their way out. The simple fact is that without regular priming and painting, timber roofline products warp crack and rot, letting water in and causing untold damage to rafters and roof joists.

Chelmsford Roofline don’t sell products our clients don’t need or want. Our tradesmen are skilled builders and are available for repairs as well as replacement. We would rather fix a leaky gutter and treat a timber fascia if it will continue to serve the purpose for which it was built.

The choice of colour is all yours, as is the decision on the style of the guttering and downpipes. Chelmsford Roofline guttering and downpipes are made from high-impact, high gloss UPVC. New and replacement guttering is available in half round, square line and decorative ogee styling. Some people prefer the guttering and down pipes to match the other roofline products, some people like a contrast. Chelmsford Roofline guttering is also available in a cast iron effect finish that often suits older homes.
